The Fort Lauderdale real estate market has a high concentration of wealth in certain pockets of the metropolitan area but much of the area remains affordable.
Recently the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the Fort Lauderdale real estate market daily newspaper, released an interactive map showing the distribution of wealth throughout the region.
This is a pretty interesting map that they put together and it will show you what the financial make-up of an area looks like. With this map you’ll be able to determine where to look for a home in an are of affordability based upon the wealth distribution in a particular area.
