On the inaugural voyage of Fort Lauderdale Real Estate Radio we kicked off South Florida’s only talk radio show specifically about real estate and life in our “Venice of America”. Jim Naugle, Mayor of the City of Fort Lauderdale, speaks about how the City has changed in his record six terms as mayor. He also speaks about all the city has to offer, and where he thinks Fort Lauderdale is headed. Naugle is the longest serving Mayor in the history of Fort Lauderdale.
Mayor Naugle has seen Fort Lauderdale transform from the Spring Break headquarters of America, to the world class tourist destination that the City has become. As a real estate broker, Mayor Naugle has the unique perspective of being both a politician and having a vested interest in the Fort Lauderdale real estate market. Also joining us on the launching of Fort Lauderdale Real Estate Radio is Attorney Peter Ticktin who was recently featured in the Miami Herald.
Mr. Ticktin is aggressively representing homeowners in foreclosure and has been very successful in saving homeowners from the loss of their home. Ticktin has found that most banks are taking foreclosure as a mere formality and that they often forget that it is a lawsuit. While not merely fighting a case simply to delay it, you can hear Ticktin explain that homeowners are entitled to a competent defense of a foreclosure action and should be afforded equitable protection under the law.
Mr. Ticktin also makes his representation affordable to just about anyone in foreclosure. Listen in as he explains why it is he does what he does. I think you’ll be surprised at the admirable stance one attorney is taking towards foreclosure lawsuits.
