Fort Lauderdale Real Estate Deal Of The Week!

I got an email last week from a couple in Houston who were re-locating to the South Florida area. They have been following the Fort Lauderdale Real Estate Deal Of The Week for a few weeks now (isn’t everybody??) and wanted to know if there were any communities away from the beach that had some deals that we could feature.

I have to say I was kind of taken aback. Why would you want to move to Fort Lauderdale if you don’t want to be by the beach. Then it dawned on me. Being by the beach is a relative term. We here in Fort Lauderdale consider being by the beach to be within walking distance.

I hadn’t given much thought lately to the fact that there are many parts of the Country where getting to the beach is a “pack the suitcases” type of excursion. Read more
