This might just be the grossest event ever! So are you going to attend? Maybe enter?

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in association with Major League Eating, is teaming up with Steve Martorano, The “Godfather of Italian-American Cooking,” to present the third annual “Martorano’s Masters Meatball Eating Championship” on Saturday, December 10 from 4 – 6 p.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to witness some of the world’s most popular competitive eaters in action as they skillfully devour Martorano’s award-winning meatballs for a chance to win a share of $3,000 cash.

The winner ate over 6 pounds of meatballs last year. I love meatballs but this is a bit much for me. So are you going to enter? Might be some easy cash for you!

I think that Cafe Martorano has some of the best Italian food in Fort Lauderdale but eating 6 pounds of meat in a couple of minutes might just be a bit more than I care to take on. How about you?
