August 15, 2008

Do you want to know the easiest way to avoid losing your home to foreclosure? It’s so simple that it makes me wonder why more people have not thought of it. It makes perfect sense. We won’t need any housing bailouts, no Fannie or Freddie involvement, won’t have to worry about a cumbersome short sale process…no lowering of the interest rates by the Federal Reserve…none of that will matter.

The easiest and quickest way to stop the foreclosure on your home and get on with your life, is to have a really rich friend step in and bail you out. Yep, that’s it, now you’ve heard it. C’mon, tell the truth, it’s so simple that now you’re thinking..hey, I wasted all this worry, tears and anxiety for nothing. All I had to do was get on the phone, make a few calls and bada-bing-bada-boom, done! Foreclosure stopped. Fuhgettaboutit!

One of South Florida’s biggest musical stars, Gloria Estefan, will perform a charity concert at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Oct. 24.

Gloria Estefan’s family fled Cuba for Miami in 1959. She began her singing career in 1975 with the group Miami Sound Machine, and four years later married the group’s keyboardist, Emilio Estefan. After several Spanish-language albums the group began releasing material in English, their breakthrough album coming in 1985 with Primitive Love.

Estefan went solo with even greater success; with Emilio Estefan as her producer and promoter, she became for a time America’s leading Latin recording artist. A true entrepreneur, with the Bongos, the 7 restaurant chain and a few hotels, Estefan has amassed a net worth fortune estimated at over $500 Million dollars.

In a rare appearance, the five time Grammy award winner will hold the concert to benefit school systems in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

“Knowing that our school budgets have been severely affected by the economy, I felt it important to raise awareness and donate necessary funding to assist however we can,” Estefan said in a written statement. “My mother was a school teacher, so I know first-hand the importance that teachers and education play in the lives of our youths.” Read more
