Hopefully You Won’t Need A Fort Lauderdale DUI Attorney!
December 25, 2009

I wanted to share a story with you. When you read this I hope it makes you stop and think. If you do then you won’t need a Fort Lauderdale DUI attorney.
As I write this it is the holiday season of 2009. In fact it is Christmas Day. While many of us are opening presents and enjoying time with our families, there are some who are not because they are in jail. One such person is a client of mine.
He, who shall remain nameless, decided to extend his party beyond his limits. Down here in South Florida, they take the enforcement of drunk driving very seriously. We get tons of people from all over the world visiting our little piece of paradise. Often their sole objective is to party like there’s no tomorrow. Read more
What’s The Deal With These Zhu Zhu Pets?
November 15, 2009
This weekend I began the annual mall pilgrimage of looking for gifts for those on my list. When I got to the names of the little ones I found the “Zhu Zhu Pets” showing up over and over again. Have you seen these things? Probably not! OMG it’s easier to get Beatles tickets than it is to get a hold of these little fake, furry hamsters.
Every store I went to I found the same to be true. No Zhu Zhu Pets anywhere to be found. Is this a marketing ploy or what? I mean these things are hotter than Beanie Babies ever were. If Walmart doesn’t have these fake rodents, who does?
I have to admit that at this point it’s become a quest. I will find these Zhu Zhu Pets if I have to scour every corner of the Internet. I’m not about to be out done by some guy called Mr. Squiggles! If you don’t know it appears that he is the ringleader of this band of fun loving hamsters.
Well I did find one place that had Zhu Zhu Pets. If you want one you’d better not delay. They are already hard enough to find and no way I want to get involved in any crazy e-bay bidding. It’s bad enough that these things have quadrupled in pric ein the last couple of months. If you want a Zhu Zhu Pets for the kid sin your life, you may want to act today!
I hate sounding like a game show host…but it’s the truth. The Zhu Zhu Pets are hot…like on fire hot!

Can You Imagine Casinos On South Beach?
October 5, 2008

No seriously. Close your eyes and tell me what you think South Beach would look like and become if casinos were allowed? C’mon, tell the truth..it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up doesn’t it. Can You Imagine Casinos On South Beach?
In today’s Sun-Sentinel, Michael Mayo opines that South Florida would be Las Vegas’ worst nightmare if casinos were allowed on South Beach. To paraphrase the words of the immortal Jackie Gleason..how sweet it would be!
Mayo writes..”The shame of this is beachfront resort casinos are what Florida should have based its gambling policy on long ago. Can you imagine how much the state could have made if it authorized a dozen casinos in tourist areas – say Key West, Miami Beach, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, etc. – with a bidding war up front from casino companies for the licenses and then a healthy rake of the profits?”
Nightmare for Las Vegas? Absolutely! Let’s look at the pros and cons. Desert v. Beach. That’s an easy one. Game over! Everything after that wouldn’t matter. The international, multi-cultural ambiance of South Florida, and in particular South Beach would make complete sense.
One could not even imagine the impact that full fledged casinos would have on South Florida. Read more
