The Best Realtor In East Fort Lauderdale

I recently read a Digg wherein a couple of guys had declared themselves as the best realtor in east Fort Lauderdale. In addition to sounding cocky, and blatantly full of themselves, I was wondering how this award was self-conferred. Was there some awards ceremony that yours truly was not invited to? Was there some contest that I missed? Was there some reality show that I didn’t see? No…just a couple of shameless agents trying to drum up some business…how sad.
Part Time Realtors And Part Time Real Estate Agents

Excuse me for a moment, it’s hard to type with this suit of armor I have on. You see after some agents see this I may be on the hit list of a number of them. However, don’t worry too much. If they are as proficient at hitting a target as they are at being real estate agents, I shouldn’t have much of a problem.

It’s A Great Time To Buy A Home…If You’re White!
Oh I finally understand the National Association Of Realtors advertising campaign. Silly me, I needed to read between the lines. “It’s a great time to buy a home…if you’re white!” Another agent is charged with being a racist.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced today that it has charged Rodney Foreman, a real estate agent formerly employed by Coldwell Banker-Joe T. Lane Realty, Inc., in Jonesboro, Georgia, with racial steering in the sale of homes. Read more
Foreclosure Rescue Fraud Prevention Act

If you’re a real estate investor, real estate agent or a homeowner in foreclosure, you need to be aware of a new law going into effect on October 1, 2008. Many of the clients that we have have been asking us lately what this new law is all about. The new law is titled the Foreclosure Rescue Fraud Prevention Act, and becomes Florida Statute sec. 501.1377.
Effectively, without a serious change in the way their business is conducted, most real estate agents will NOT be able to be involved in short sales in the State of Florida any longer! Read more
