Aaaaahhhhhh…wine, food, music….the South Florida weather…it doesn’t get any better than this! The 16th Annual Las Olas Wine and Food Festival is a special event in Fort Lauderdale that is held to benefit the American Lung Association.
The annual fete will have all the bells and whistles you expect from the toney Las Olas Boulevard area. The participating restaurants are top-notch, and there will be a fashion show, a cupcake war, and loads to do, eat, and drink. The sponsors this year are Tequila Herradura, Bombay Sapphire Gin and Premier Beverage Company.

The event will be from April 27-29th this year – and on Saturday, March 29th, there will be the famous Wine Dinner Saturday.
Tequila Herradura VIP Reception in partnership with JM Lexus $225pp
On Saturday, April 29th the Tequila Herradura VIP Reception in partnership with JM Lexus (a sell out every year) will be held on Las Olas Boulevard (located on the Riverside Hotel lawn by 8th Ave) from 6.00 p.m. – 7.30 p.m. All VIP patrons will receive a complimentary wine glass and included in the VIP ticket is a fabulous VIP Gift Bag which contains a bottle of wine and exciting items from our sponsors. The VIP experience will include an open bar courtesy of Brown Forman Corporation and delicious cuisine.
World Famous Las Olas Boulevard Street Festival $100pp
Often imitated but never duplicated the Friday, April 29th Street Festival ticket has everything that seals the deal in making this clearly the #1 wine and food event in South Florida! Your street festival ticket includes a complimentary wine glass (6½ oz.), butler tray and unlimited sampling from over 60 of the best local restaurants, 45 tables of wine and micro brews from 7.30 p.m. – 10 p.m. This ticket also includes the unparalleled Bombay Sapphire lounge for the ultimate cocktail experience! Of course to compliment this affair we include live music from amazing South Florida acts like The WEEDLINE & Pan Vibes. We love to add a little fashion in as well so a Culinary Couture Fashion Show by the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale will take place on the cat walk. All attendees this year have the chance to take part in the New Times CUPCAKE BATTLE! That’s right you get to decide the “Fan Favorite” award for the Best Cupcake during the festival!
BYTES “A Gourmet Food Truck Event” $40pp
This year’s Festival will feature a new addition dubbed BYTES “A Gourmet Food Truck Event.” The trucks stop here on Saturday, April 30th at Huizenga Plaza from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Gourmet Food Trucks will feature savory delights for guests, including The MexZican Gourmet, Slow Food Truck,& Grill Master Cafe. Unlimited sampling from all the trucks, two complimentary drinks courtesy of Tequila Herradura, Bombay Sapphire ® Gin, Barefoot Wine and Bubbly and live music.

The 2011 Las Olas Wine and Food Festival may be sold out! The festival takes place directly on the World Famous Las Olas Boulevard, the most popular street in downtown Fort Lauderdale, known for its fabulous restaurants, trendy shops, and magnificent hotels.
The exclusive VIP Reception (a sell out every year) was held in the VIP Lounge on Las Olas Boulevard (located on 8th Ave.) from 5:30p.m. — 7:00 pm. The VIP Lounge was open the entire festival for VIP Ticket holders only. VIP Patrons received a complimentary Eisch Glass which is a breathable wine glass manufactured in Germany in addition to the VIP Gift Bag which contains a bottle of wine.
The street festival takes place from 7:00p.m – 9:30p.m. Each block of Las Olas Boulevard will have live music plus festival goers will enjoyed signature culinary creations from more than 65 of South Florida’s most desirable dining destinations accompanied by 40+ wine tables on the boulevard.
